LUCIANA COSTA GIANELLOBorn in 1936, she has learned the main weaving techniques in 1978; she lives and works in Vicenza.

| 1978 | She alternates studies with personal experimentation on fabrics. |
| 1985 | She begins a research on tapestry, using and mixing unusual materials and working on their three-dimensional possibilities. |
| 1986 | She creates the hand-weaving laboratory at the Centro Creativo Exodus in Costozza di Longare (Vicenza), where she still organizes training courses. |
| 1987-92 | She extends her teaching activity organizing hand-weaving stages for the Town Council. |
| 1988 | On behalf of the Centro Creativo Exodus she participates
in the planning and realization of "TEXTILIA" -
